Lucking & Clark is a structural engineering practice specialising in the design of new buildings and refurbishment of older properties. We undertake commissions on behalf of clients working in all sectors of industry and commerce, and are particularly proud of our flexible service offering, adapting our level of practical support and input to clients' needs.

The practice was established in 1987 and developed its extensive knowledge of refurbishment through a number of projects involving prestigious historical buildings.

We have many partnerships with contractors on design and build projects. For such projects, we aim to produce a high level of construction detail and provide good value engineering advice.

We also have wide experience of new constructions for inner city sites, and have more recently developed a technical expertise in the design and detailing of glass and steel structures. We employ the latest developments in design techniques, materials, and construction methods to provide clients with effective solutions to structural problems, incorporating new ideas and architectural concepts.

We undertake commissions throughout the UK for a variety of clients including government, charities, and financial institutions.

All our principals are Chartered Engineers and members of the Institution of Structural Engineers. Lucking & Clark is a corporate member of the Association of Consulting Engineers.
